The Gold Run Pass Mine project is a Welded Wire Wall that was constructed in 2023.  The wall is 14' tall, 2176 SF, and located in Healy, AK. The wall was designed by Shannon & Wilson. It was constructed and is owned by Usibelli Coal Mine, Inc.

The Dump Hopper and Feeder, Charles City project is a Welded Wire Wall constructed in 2022.  The wall is 1648 SF, 26' tall and located in Charles City, VA.  The wall was constructed by Bract Retaining Walls, designed by Cesaretti Engineered Solutions, and owned by Branscom, Inc.

The Crusher Relocation Wall 2020 was constructed by Kiewit, and designed by Bret Debernardi with Gordon Geotechnical Engineering, Inc.

La Colorado, Sonora, Mexico Mine was constructed in 2013.  The wall was designed by Jepsen Engineering, construction supervision was provided by Hilfiker Retaining Walls.

The Buriticá, Antioquia, Colombia Mine project was constructed in 2018.  Construction supervision was provided by Tom Meehan, Earthtech West, LTD., and the walls were designed by Tom Jepsen, Jepsen Engineering.

The South Field Crusher MSE Relocation wall is a welded wire wall constructed in November 1999. The project is located in in Gillette, Wyoming. The general contactor was TIC - The Industrial Company and the wall designer was Geotechnical Design Services Inc.

In 1994, a Hilfiker Welded Wire Wall (72’ tall, 8-year design life), designed by MacIntosh Engineering, was constructed at the site and utilized as a truck dump supporting 162 ton GVW trucks.  In 2001, an addition to the structure, also a Welded Wire Wall designed by MacIntosh Engineering, was constructed.

In 2011, a design analysis by Collins Engineers, Inc. determined that corrosion, as anticipated, would limit extending the future service life of the structure.  A Spiralnail system to extend the service life an additional 10 years, as required by the owner, was designed by Collins Engineers, supplied by Hilfiker, and construction by EarthTech West.  Construction also included placing a berm at the toe of the existing wall.
 

The Bear Run Mining Project is a hot dipped galvanized welded wire wall mining project constructed in September 2009. The project is located Dugger, Indiana. The wall builder was Baker Construction and the wall designer was Geotechnical Design Systems Inc.
