The Copperstone Mine Wall in Quartzite, Arizona was constructed in September 2011. The wall construction was provided by Larry Finman with Finman & Associates,  inc. The wall was designed by : Kirk Cesaretti, P.E., Ontiveros & Associates.

Wall Details:

• Welded Wire Wall (three angle points) and ArtWeld Gabions
• Maximum Wall Height of 26’
• Maximum Mat Length of 21’
• Dead & Live (Traffic) Loading:Two dead loads have been applied to the top of the Wire wall. The concrete Slab is assumed to be 18” thick.  Contributing a 225 psf surcharge directly above the wall. The Gabion wall dead load is assumed to be a 810 psf strip (3’ wide) load directly above the face of the wall. The JD300D Haul Truck is specified loaded at 103.108 lbs.  This load has been evenly distributed upon the concrete dump slab across the footprint of the truck (20.25’x7.75’).  This live load is equivalent to 660 psf and has been applied to all areas beyond the Gabion barrier and directly above the wall at the dump site.

Hot Wheels Base Terminal at Alpine Meadows is a Welded Wire Wall that was constructed in 2019.  The wall is 4,500 sf and also consists of 111 cy of ArtWeld Gabions at the top. The wall is located at the Alpine Meadows Treeline Cirque lift, and is owned by Squaw Valley / Alpine Meadows.

The PSHIA Turf Removal & Landscape Design is an ArtWeld Gabion Project Constructed in 2018 by GKP General Contracting Inc.  The project is located at the Phoenix Sky Harbor Internation Airport and is owned by the City of Phoenix Aviation Deptartment. The PSHIA Turf Removal & Landscape Design consists of 2,023 CY of ArtWeld Gabions.

The Power House Excavation Arrowrock Dam Project consists of two Welded Wire Walls with ArtWeld Gabions.  The two Welded Wire Walls total 8,000 sf with a height of 28', one of the walls also consists of 45 cy of ArtWeld Gabions.  The walls were construced in 2009 by Mountain States Hydro LLC, and was designed by American Geo Technics.

The smoky canyon mine project is a Welded Wire Wall and ArtWeld Gabion wall constructed in October 2013 located in Caribou National Forest, Idaho (approximately 20 miles from Afton, Wyoming). The wall designer is K. Jeffrey Nelson, P.E., SHN Consulting Engineers & Geologists.

The Ely, Nevada mining project is a hot dipped galvanized Welded Wire Wall constructed in March 2018. The project is located on State Route 892, Ely, NV 89803. The wall designer is CESaretti Engineered Solutions.

The MSE Crusher Wall at Nevada Mine was constructed in 2013. The wall construction was provided by EarthTech West, Ltd, and the wall was designed by Collins Engineering.

• Maximum Wall Height of 114’
• Maximum Mat (spliced) Length of 80’
• Loads: uniform live load surcharge of 900 psf, for CAT 795 haul truck

• 31,352 SF of Welded Wire Wall & 140 CY of ArtWeld Gabions, 9 gauge, galvanized

The Northgate Link Extension Light Rail project is a Artweld Gabion-faced MSE wall with veneer Artweld Gabions in Seattle Washington.  The Northgate Link Extension Light Rail was constructed in 2018-2019 by KLB Construction Inc.  It consists of 6,250 CY of Artweld Gabion-faced MSE and 4,200 CY of veneer Artweld Gabions. The owner of the project is Sound Transit and was designed by CESaretti Engineered Solutions.

The Lakewood Dam Repair project is an ArtWeld Gabion wall.  The Lakewood Dam Repair project was constructed in 2019 by Sierra Mountain Construction Inc.  It Consists of 137 cy of Artweld Gabions and is owned by the Tuolumne Utilities District and was designed by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc.

The Quartz Hill Project is an ArtWeld Gabion Wall that was built in 2019.  The Quartz Hill wall is 18 feet tall and 1,230 cy of ArtWeld Gabions.  The Owner of the wall is the City of Redding and it was built by Eddie Axner Construction.
