The Copperstone Mine Wall in Quartzite, Arizona was constructed in September 2011. The wall construction was provided by Larry Finman with Finman & Associates,  inc. The wall was designed by : Kirk Cesaretti, P.E., Ontiveros & Associates.

  • Dead & Live (Traffic) Loading:Two dead loads have been applied to the top of the Wire wall. The concrete Slab is assumed to be 18” thick.  Contributing a 225 psf surcharge directly above the wall. The Gabion wall dead load is assumed to be a 810 psf strip (3’ wide) load directly above the face of the wall. The JD300D Haul Truck is specified loaded at 103.108 lbs.  This load has been evenly distributed upon the concrete dump slab across the footprint of the truck (20.25’x7.75’).  This live load is equivalent to 660 psf and has been applied to all areas beyond the Gabion barrier and directly above the wall at the dump site.

The Mallard Pointe Project is a Spiralnail-Wiretruss Wall located in Issaquah, WA that was constructed in 2019.  The wall consists of 4200 sf of Truss Panels, and 586 Spiralnails. The max height of the truss panels is  18', with an overall max wall height of 30'. The wall is privately owned, was built by Steve Burnstead Construction / Omega Construction, Inc., and was designed by Aziz Engineering Company.

The Sterling Highway project is a Welded Wire Wall that was constructed in 2018.  The wall is located in Sterling, AK, it is 10,300 square feet and 20 feet tall.  The Wall was built by Contech Engineered Solutions / Granite Construction, designed by Pacific Affiliates, and is owned by Alaska Department of Transportation.

The Georgetown Crossroads Development is a Spread Footing Abutment Welded Wire Wall that was constructed in 2017.  The wall is located in Seattle, WA, it is 22,000 square feet, and 23 feet tall. The wall was construced by Quigg Bros., Inc. designed by Cesaretti Engineered Solutions, and is owned by Georgetown Crossroads, LLC.

Cowlitz Valley ERFO Repairs Phase 3 is a Steepened Slope wall that is 25 feet tall and 1,500 sf. .  The wall is located near Randle in Lewis County WA, and was constructed in 2019 by AM Excavating, LLC. The wall is owned by the USDA Forest Service Region 6.

Port of the Dalles project is a 30 foot tall, 47,488 sf Eureka Reinforced Soil wall.  It is located on the Columbia River Highway, Wasco County, Oregon.  The wall is owned by the Oregon DOT, it was built in 1997 by Mocon Corp. and was designed by SHN Consulting Engineers.
